- Performing general servicing and mechanical repairs
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across a range of vehicle makes and models
- Handling roadside breakdowns
- Conducting brake, cooling, fuel, and timing system repairs
- Recommending and quoting on additional repairs to ensure vehicles remain safe and reliable
- Trade qualification as a motor mechanic (Australia-recognised)
- Practical experience post-apprenticeship
- A manual driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain one)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Flexibility to work some Saturdays on a roster basis
